Let the scenes in your book step off the page and start to move.
Upload your original illustration and describe what the characters should do. Lumotion turns the scene into a short animation with instructions focused on keeping your drawing style, and you download it sized for Reels, feed posts and YouTube.
Birds glide over the house, the tree's leaves flutter in the wind, smoke rises from the chimney.

How it works
From page to video in three steps
01
Upload the illustration
Upload a scan or the digital file of the book page: PNG, JPG or the book's PDF, from which you pick the page you want.
02
Describe the motion
Write who does what, pick an animation style and drag the frame to fit the video format.
03
Download the video
Preview the clip and download it as MP4. If you like, put several scenes in order on the Edit page and join them into one video.
Features
Built around what publishers need
Unlike general-purpose video tools, Lumotion focuses on one job: bringing an existing children's book illustration to life without breaking its characters or style.
Instructions that protect your style
Every generation automatically asks the model to keep the line work, brush texture, colour palette and character designs, and not to go 3D, photorealistic, or add new characters, text or logos. Results depend on the AI model; if you don't like a clip, regenerate it with the same settings.

The right format for every channel
You choose the framing before generating, so characters aren't cut off at the edges.

Free scene motion
No AI and no changes to the illustration itself: a slow camera push-in or pan, snow, rain, fireflies, dust in the light or sunlight. The preview plays instantly and the video is made in your browser and downloaded, using no credits. Characters don't walk in this mode.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will my drawing style change?+
On every generation Lumotion tells the model to keep the original line work, texture, colours and character designs, and not to switch to a 3D or photorealistic look. Results still depend on the AI model and not every clip will be perfect. You can regenerate a result you don't like with the same settings, or choose a calmer style.
Which files can I upload?+
PNG and JPG images up to 30 MB, or the book's PDF. The PDF opens in your browser, the page you pick is turned into an image, and only that page is uploaded. For best results, use scans whose short side is at least 1024 pixels.
How long does an animation take?+
Usually a few minutes, depending on the model and demand. Generation runs in the background; you can close the page and download it later from History.
How are credits calculated?+
1 credit corresponds to roughly 1 US cent of video-model cost. The amount depends on model, quality and length and is shown before you generate. For example, a 5-second Kling 3 Pro clip is 56 credits. Credits for failed generations are refunded automatically.
Where are my illustrations stored, and who can see them?+
Files are kept in non-public storage, tied only to your account. During generation the image is sent to the video model you chose through a short-lived link. Details are on the Data & privacy page.
Can I add sound, a logo or text to the video?+
Not yet. Clips have no sound. You can put clips in order and join them into one video on the Edit page; adding a logo, text and music is in development.
