Data & privacy
Your illustrations are yours
This page explains in plain language how Lumotion technically stores and processes your data. A formal privacy notice and terms of use will be published separately.
What we keep
- Account: your e-mail address, a one-way hash of your password, your publisher name and your interface language.
- Content: the illustrations you upload, their framed copies, the generated videos and the motion instructions you write.
- Usage: project names, generation settings (model, length, format), credit activity and subscription status.
Where and how files are stored
- The database and file storage are hosted on Supabase servers in the European region.
- Storage is not public. Each file sits in a folder that belongs to your account and only opens through signed links that are created for you when you are signed in and expire shortly after.
- No other account can list or open your files; every request is re-checked against your account on the server.
During video generation
- When you start an animation, the framed image is passed to fal.ai, which runs the video model you chose, through a link valid for at most 6 hours, together with your motion instruction and the style instructions.
- The generated video is fetched from fal.ai, copied into our own private storage and served to you from there.
- Lumotion does not use, share or publish your images for any other purpose.
Cookies
- We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember the interface language you chose. If you request a password reset, a temporary one-hour cookie is added.
- No advertising or third-party analytics cookies are used.
Deletion and your rights
- When you delete a project, its illustrations, framed copies and videos are permanently deleted.
- You can write to us to have your account and all of your data deleted, or to get a copy of your data.
